Opening a PayPal account in Kenya is a simple process. First you need to have an email account. To get an email account you can sign up with free email providers like Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail. There are two types of accounts to choose from, The Personal Account and the Business Account. Only difference between these accounts is the business account you will need to show proof of existence.
After choosing your proffered account “press continue” and you will be redirected to a new page.
Enter your email and a secure eight character long password. “Press continue”
On the next page enter your personal details. These details will be used in your account and some cannot be changed.
Check the User agreement and privacy policy by ticking the box, Click "agree and create account" and you will be done creating your PayPal account.
After completing the sign up process PayPal sends an email to verify if you are the owner. Click on the email link and verify your account.
To lift your PayPal accounts limits enter your Debit card details. This will be used for verification. PayPal deducts 1.95USD from your card and after successful verification the money is debited to your PayPal account.
